Terms of Service and Sale

Romancia is an adult entertainment service offering virtual companions powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Conversations, characters, images and any other content produced by the Service are entirely fictional and generated by AI models. No character corresponds to a real person; any resemblance would be purely coincidental.

The Service may generate explicit content (text and images), intended exclusively for a consenting adult audience.

Access to the Service is strictly reserved for persons aged 18 or over, or the legal age of majority in their country of residence if higher. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in case of reasonable doubt about the age of its holder, without notice or compensation.

Creating an account requires a valid email address and password, or the use of a third-party identity provider (e.g. Google). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your credentials are strictly personal and confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account. In case of unauthorized use or a security breach, you must inform us without delay using the contact details provided on the Legal Notice page.

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent Service limits (in particular free hearts) is prohibited.

The Service relies on a virtual currency, "hearts", giving access to certain features (sending messages, generating images, etc.). Heart packs and paid subscriptions are available for purchase.

Payments are securely processed by our provider Stripe. We do not store any banking data. Prices are displayed inclusive of all applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at each billing date (monthly or yearly depending on the chosen plan). You may cancel at any time from your account or via the Stripe management portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, which remains due, with no pro-rata refund.

Hearts have no monetary value. They are not transferable, not redeemable for money, and cannot be exchanged outside the Service. Unused hearts are lost if the account is deleted.

Consumed hearts and digital content already generated (messages, images) are consumed digital goods: they are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Under European Union law, you normally benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period for online purchases. However, by purchasing hearts or a subscription, you request immediate performance of the service and immediate delivery of the digital content: you expressly consent to this immediate performance and acknowledge waiving your right of withdrawal for content already delivered, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

It is strictly forbidden to use the Service to:

• generate, solicit or distribute content that is illegal under French law or the law of your country of residence;
• any depiction of minors, real or simulated, in a sexual context — zero tolerance: immediate account deletion and report to the competent authorities;
• create characters imitating real people without their consent (impersonation, "deepfakes");
• incite hatred, violence or discrimination, or glorify criminal acts;
• attempt to bypass security or moderation measures, scrape data at scale, disrupt the operation of the Service, or resell access to the Service.

Any breach of these rules may result in the immediate suspension or deletion of the account, without refund of hearts or ongoing subscriptions, and without prejudice to any legal action.

We strive to keep the Service continuously accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or in cases of force majeure.

Service features may evolve. We reserve the right to add, modify or remove features, including the AI models used, without this giving rise to any compensation.

The Service, its brand, interface, logos and all software components are the exclusive property of the publisher or its licensors. Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction or representation is prohibited.

AI-generated content produced at your request (conversations, images) is licensed to you for strictly personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell it or present it as human-made work for commercial purposes.

Virtual companions are computer programs. Conversations are fictional and under no circumstances constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice. The Service is provided for entertainment purposes only. If you are in distress, please reach out to a healthcare professional or a support service.

As content is generated by AI models, it may be inaccurate, inconsistent or inappropriate despite our moderation measures. You use the Service with full knowledge of this.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's total liability under the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid during the last twelve (12) months. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may amend these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect legal or functional changes. The current, dated version is published on this page. In the event of a substantial change, users will be informed by any appropriate means (banner, email). Continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavor to reach an amicable solution before any legal action.

In accordance with European regulations, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
